We have updated the WordPress version in the Lonex Control Panel to the latest stable release currently available – WordPress 3.6.

All of you who now sign up for our WordPress hosting services, will get the new version automatically installed on their sites.

If you have an existing WordPress blog or a site using an older version, please update it from your WordPress Admin Panel. The update will incorporate many bug fixes and improvements into the backbone of your site.

The new WordPress 3.6 version shows improvements in multi-media support and post publishing/ editing, and a major enhancement in security.

From multi-media perspective, you will find brand new HTML5 audio and video players, an improved integration with SoundCloud, Rdio and Spotify, and a revamped media uploader.

Also, there is a brand new theme – Twenty Thirteen, which is fully responsive and mobile-friendly.

Regarding post management, WordPress can now auto-save your post every time a change is made. Also, post revisions are completely updated and more useful.

On the side of security, a solution has been found to the problem regarding server-side request forgery vulnerability, which before put at risk the personal information submitted on your website.

То download the latest version of WordPress, log into the Lonex Control Panel and go to the One-click Web Applications Installer. Select WordPress and click on the Install button. That’s it! Happy blogging!
